Can't Stop Staring: Natalie Shau
"Dream of Winter" by Natalie Shau is purely haunting, along with all the rest of her work. I definitely suggest going over and taking a look!

Can't Stop Staring: Ruben Ireland
A few weeks ago I did a post on Heather Landis and titled it "Can't Stop Staring." Since then, I've noticed a lot of images having that same effect over me. Pieces that I keep going back to and looking at--quite literally staring at. Enough so, that I decided to make it a feature on this here blog to share the love. I excitedly illustrated a little "Can't Stop Staring" Eye logo for the feature and jumped right over to Ruben Ireland's website to show you my latest "staring" obsession.
Ruben's work is captivating and utterly sophisticated. He mixes traditional and digital techniques which create subtle textures and an airy, atmospheric quality to each piece. I love how his color palette in the above images is soft and powerful at the same time.
Please visit Ruben Ireland's website see his other pieces! They are equally as impressive-- and you can buy prints too!
