I haven't been able to stop staring at Lilly Piri's drawing Relocation -- which made it just the right pick for this week's Art Life. The image is quite haunting-- there seems to be a sadness and innocence behind the figure's gaze. I love how the limited color palette that Piri uses is warm and inviting, and yet still maintains ghost-like qualities. For the Art Life collection, I jumped on the chance to find home items in whites and creams that would really connect in a room that also includes a framed print of Relocation!
Think: Limited color palette of warm whites and creams, Elegance through simplicity, A touch of Nature/Birds
